Help needed updating Arduino 1.5.5r.2

Jason said I needed to update the Rambo board for SD3 to see both extruders in my M2 kit. Downloaded Arduino, came as a zip file on my windows 7 computer. Being a zip file after it's unzipped which file do I load on a SD card to plug into the rambo? All of them, or what? I know to the experienced th...

Re: Extruder 1 not a valid extruder S3D error message

Newest version of S3D already has the option for 0 and 1 extruders built in. This it might be the cable where it plugs into the board. I'll check that later this week and see if that fixes the "not seeing extruder 1" issue. Thanks for any and all help resolving only 0 extruder working. Can say the n...

Extruder 1 not a valid extruder S3D error message

Finally got around to installing the dual kit purchased when this was 1st offered.

S3D says extruder 1 is not a valid extruder the 1st time I went to use it.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Extruder 0 works and prints fine. Already put about 6 pounds of ABS filament thru it with zero issues.

Re: S3D Issues printing from SD card

Narrowing this down to software issue with win 7.

Win 7 does not have the necessary .dll on my puter to run S3D 4.0.
Can use only 3.0. Put 4.0 on my laptop and will see if this cures the problem.

I production print fishing tackle diver rings that Jim C designed for me.

S3D Issues printing from SD card

I get one print from the SD card. Then the machine or code hangs up even though printing temp parameters have been met. Program works OK in normal mode, but not when reordering more prints from the SD card. If I shut down the program and bring it back up again, it will print one from the SD card, bu...

Gantry part looks best for me, your eyes might not have to rely on this,
but the older you get? ...eyes do not improve with age.

Re: Printing that Slants

Exquisite, just what I need.

Did flip over the work rubber corners, this did tighten it up.
Toothpick didn't work.

Downloaded the new clamps and will make 4 out of PET+ soon.

Feel good about identifying the problem that's plagued me 3 days.
Now it can be fixed!

Re: Printing that Slants

Think I found the issue, the rubber pad/corners are allowing movement ever so slightly. Karen@makergear will soon be seeing a request for 4 new ones. Until the new ones arrive, I will wedge a toothpick to firm up the build plate and glass to stop the .015 slop. Used my machine to build 1000s of part...
