Re: printing bones, bottom knuckle curls up, how to fix?

Thanks, I did raise the part, unfortunately no change with the cupping. I have switched to the RF_Foot and rotated it so the foot is down. That foreleg is a b****, I've tried as designed, laid it down horz., rotated it, etc. Without an enclosure I've printed the rib-cages, pelvis, tail and LF foot w...

Re: printing bones, bottom knuckle curls up, how to fix?

Thanks airscapes: I changed Horz. Offset to .1 due to last comment base layers to 5 kept extra inflation at .9 since some of those towers are very high and I thought I needed extra support lower vertical separation layers to 0 support infill angles to 45/-45 from 90 (thanks, I looked that up and lea...

Re: printing bones, bottom knuckle curls up, how to fix?

Thanks, I guess that will work, i'd have to use mesh mixer. This is not the only piece I would have to do this with. But quit honestly I was hoping for more of a "how come it's doing this" tip. ie: too many side/ bottom layers? reduce extrusion multiplier? decrease part / support offset? try to cali...

Re: Probe Failure

I just resolved the same issue on my m3id. Turns out the cable plugged into the bl touch had bad crimps. if the wires are pulling away from the plug, push them back in.

Re: storing PLA

Another tip, get the large pet food container from pet stores(petsmart). The kind with a gasket in the top lid. Throw in 1 cup or more of standard desiccant beads in the bottom. It will hold 8 full makergear spools. They are not perfectly airtight, but good enough.

ooze guard, is it neccessary on the M3 ID?

Thought, opinions?

Of course, I could just wait a little longer and see what my ooze guard caught.

Re: Octopi doesn't like me anymore

The problem turned out to be a setting issue shipped by the factory. If you are getting a new printer, do not register Octoprint until MakerGear issues an update.

Re: Nozzle diameter settings

Dang, This reminds me of the tin solders people used to make. I've seen displays of some remarkably and well painted platoons on parade.

I guess we are now making plastic solders far beyond the green army men!

Octopi doesn't like me anymore

It was a short relationship. I promise I treated it with utmost respect! I had just finished printing my key fob, what a difference the M#-ID was after my now boat anchor ANET A8. I started exploring octopi and noticed the "Registration" button. Silly me, I followed instructions after clicking on Re...
