Re: Horizontal axis inaccurate - M3 SE

Thank you ednisley and airscapes, I appreciate the comments, suggestions, etc. ednisey - the parts I was printing at the time were small 30 x 60 x 10 mm optic lighting enclosures in ABS, with a base and lid which snapped together. There had never been an issue before while I had my Zortrax's, so I h...

Horizontal axis inaccurate - M3 SE

Is it possible to adjust horizontal movements / steps in firmware to achieve a more accurate print? I find X & Y differ. Not by a lot but enough to have customers come back to me and say a part is off. I am playing around with manually scaling the digital model, mentioned in another post here, which...

Re: Scaling and Horizontal Offset

Hi Zemlin.... just wanted to say thanks for this! After spending weeks trying to calibrate materials, horizontal offsets, vertical offsets, etc, etc. in S3D and not having a lot of luck I recalled seeing your thread here. I find my WIFI connection to my M3 a little flakey at the best of times and would like to, if possible, use a SD card for transferring files to my M3 SE. As there is no built in SD card slot on the M3 SE I ...

Re: Cleaning a M3 SE Hotend - Best method?

Thanks very much to the both of you. I have removed the brass nozzle. I mostly print with ABS so soaked it in acetone over night. I didnt have a fine enough tool to push through the nozzle but cleaned it as best i could. I am now back up and printing with that nozzle and hotend, but still cant perfo...

Cleaning a M3 SE Hotend - Best method?

Hi All, I have a M3 SE, one year old which has worked pretty well since purchase. Lately I have been having some issues with filament not coming through and the extruder motor 'clicking'. A cold pull procedure does not seem to be working, trying quite a few times without any luck - the extruder moto...
