Automated First Layer Cal Temps 'Baked' In - No Way to Change!

The M3-ID control panel has a very nice 'First Layer Cal' feature, but there are only two available extruder/bed temp settings, and they are NOT adjustable - they are somehow 'baked into' the firmware There is a 'Settings' page on the Octoprint server that allows you to adjust the temps for PLA and ...

First Layer Cal with PETG

I'm trying to do a first layer calibration using PETG and a PEI sheet. I selected the ABS temp range, as that seemed to be the closest available setting. Is there any way to do a first layer cal with custom temperature settings?

TIA,

Probe Offset Procedure not working?

Hi, I have an M3-ID and I just recently installed the BuildTak FlexPlate system. Now I'm trying to get the first layer right using the M3-ID's 'Starting Height Adjustment' feature. I print the zigzag, and it all comes off in one long string. So, I choose the Probe Offset Too Low choice and do it aga...

Re: Printed part has bad X-axis shift, generally poor print

Thanks for the time you've put in on this topic, and for the demo model.

I printed the model. height = 2.92mm, wall thickness = 0.90, width = length = 16.74

I'
We here at MakerGear are actively working on updating the OctoPrint version for our M3 printers and we can't wait for you to try it out!
If the update is going to happen in some realistic time frame (not 'RSN'), I'll be happy to wait and try it out.

Re: Octoprint module SD card access?

You could also backup the current state of OctoPrint from within the OctoPrint Settings. While this may not be as full-proof as copying the entire image file, it's a great option if you'd like to easily revert back to a known state after making changes to the OctoPrint server. It can be found by na...
