Newer Z Endstop STL's?
My Z Endstop broke. The files on GitHub are different that what came on my 24v model. The hole for the LED is smaller and they have the nuts on the clamp instead of on the body, which makes it impossible to tighten properly since the bolt heads point towards the chassis. Anyone know if there's a new...

Re: PEI Bed Surface
To cut the PEI I use a straight edge metal ruler as a guide, then score it with a box cutter (with a good blade) a couple of passes, you do have to press down firmly both times. I then put the score along the edge of my workbench and give it a good downward whack with the palm of my hand. Breaks off...

Re: Various filament spool widths?
I sometimes use the Push Plastic 6.6 lb reels when I'm printing a lot of the same item. They show dimensions as:
Hub 1.5"
Flange: 10.5"
Traverse: 3.75"
They also have a 10kg reel (gulp!), I won't even go there.

Simplify3D Outline/Perimeter Shells
Is there any setting that would let me specify the number of shells for the extreme outer walls but specify a different number of shells for interior items? For example a rectangle with circles inside. I would want 2 shells for the rentangle walls but only 1 shell on the circle walls. The only setti...

Re: Favorite Print Surface?
I like PEI but wouldn't recommend it for a factory stock item.
I tend to agree the glass is fine as a stock item, it works with just about anything if the proper coating is applied. The other surfaces are kind of finicky and may not work with as many materials as glass does.
