Ninjaflex needs to be dried, is that correct? I did not do that prior to first use.. How bad does is suck up moisture.. PLA like or Nylon like?? It all depends on how good the filament is as well as how it was stored. Like you I store my filament in Plastic tubs (my lids have seals) with silica gel packets and I have Makergear filament that came with my printer and is 4+ years old that is still fine. You can try the Makergear Github page I know there is some Octoprint stuff there but I've never looked at it so I'm not sure if its what you need or not.

They are suppose to be on there with a retaining compound so heat sould be need to remove them but I did have one come off on it's own once so ... :roll: I chock that one up to the Chinese manufacturing Ed was talking about though.

Yeah it pretty much ran out of usable surface. I did end up buying a whole new motor already but also bought another pinion too just to use this one as a back up in a pinch if one of my other printers suffers the same fate.

Yeah apparently they are working with at least 6 manufactures directly (MG included) so this should be exciting... I pulled the trigger on a Pro today. :shock:
