Once upon a time they did have both a PTFE and an all metal version V4. When the Duel Kits came out I think they came with one each. The best thing to do would just be to drop MG a email or phone call to see if they still have them available if you want one.

The Red circle is where you set the temp. and the blue circle is where you would extrude 100mm of filament once the temp is anywhere above 170.

I can't help you with the specs but I've had the Noctura's in all 3 of my power supplies and I've never had an issue.... well I have to assume they are running because they sure can't be heard.

I'm no expert but I think if you plug it into the other port you just need to tell your slicer to use tool 2 instead of tool 1 from now on. I wouldn't think you need to rewrite the firmware.

The SD card is in the Raspberry Pi. (I assume they are using Pi's) The Pi is housed in the smaller box on the base of the printer.
