Re: Most Chemical Resistant filament?

We are developing a PPS filament. PPS is high-temp, highly chemically resistant, and inherently flame-retardant. You'll need an all-metal extruder (melt temp 280c, processing a bit hotter than that), but it's a pretty amazing material. We've had our first couple go-arounds with it and hope to have s...

NEW Carbon Fiber PLA and ABS

We launched our new grades of Carbon Fiber ABS and PLA. We did a lot of testing on these grades to make sure they had the properties we wanted. We are pretty excited about these - especially the PLA grade. Our data is highlighted on our blog. http://www.3dxtech.com/blog/ 3DXMax™ CFR-PLA Highlights 9...

Re: Has anyone found a killer gold PLA filament?

We have a nice selection of metallic PLA's - which work great in our M2. They also include free shipping in the USA.

Re: Polyimide Tape

You mentioned ultem above. Is this a material you already have available or is it in development? I have read that Stratasys has ultem, but have not seen it available anywhere else. Re: Polyimide Tape

Hi. Since we have our new M2, we made sure to have some sizes specifically for our printer and for yours! We added 5-packs to fit the M2 in both 2mil and 4mil sheets. Our list price is on our website ( http://www.3dxtech.com/polyimide-tape ), but the 8" x 10" polyimide pricing is: 2mil 5-pack sheets...

Re: Polyimide Tape

HI. Been awhile since I checked back - sorry about that. Sounds obvious - but thicker polyimde goes down and stays down better. We just got 4mil polyimide in stock and I can tell you it makes a world of difference. 2mil works great too, but 4mil gets you spoiled pretty quickly. We have 1mil rolls th...

New M2 - very excited, but questions...

Hi. We finally have our M2 - and we are very impressed! Rock solid design & simple architecture - all makes great sense. So far, everything we had hoped for. We make / sell a variety of filaments (including a bunch of R&D stuff that can get pretty strange) so we can't wait to put this machine to wor...
