Re: Filament snapped above extruder gear???
Since we live in the same place id figure id chime in. With the humidity here, when you leave a spool of PLA on the printer your going to see this happen every few days or so. My printer is in a enclosed room with a dehumidifier running 24/7 and I still experience the same thing. Any other material ...

I hear if you switch out the breaker fast enough, you wont even loose power!

Re: 3D Hubs etc. Worth it?
if you click on the 3d print you can upload a file and see what others charge compared to you.
I just charge 10$ for setting up and 1$ per square cm.
I don't try too much to compete on prices since there are some out there that will print for dirt cheap.

Re: 3D Hubs etc. Worth it?
I setup a hub and have been really enjoying it. I loose money compared to my regular job on the labor, but its great for learning about the different issues and challenges 3d printing for others gives you. Another good part is that for each print you can buy like 8x the material to replace it. You'l...

Re: Stutters/Pauses on Circles
I also started experiencing this after using octoprint.
Seems the raspberry pi camera uses too much processing power for the pi.
Disabling the camera fixed my issue.

Re: Voltage Issue on Fan0
That was it guys. Sending a M106 S255 worked for the 50mm.
Then I spent an hour or so trying to figure out how to modify the fan on button but realized the s3d gcode file sends the S255 command in the gcode.
So no need to edit it i guess. Another doh!
Thanks again.

Re: Voltage Issue on Fan0
forgot to test last night but found this page on modifying the control settings.

Looks like I can add a slider for the fan speed.

Re: Voltage Issue on Fan0
Using Octoprint I clicked the fan on button and it wasn't working. I tried a M106 S100 thinking the number was the percentage of speed(doh!) and that didn't work. I did remove the e3d v6 which has a 40mm fan for cooling. That worked fine with the Octoprint fan button. But no I did not. Will give it ...

Voltage Issue on Fan0
Aloha Guys, I switched over to the v4 last weekend and replaced some of the harness. After firing it back up everything was working except for fan0. Moved the fan to fan1 connection and it worked. Checked the voltage on the fan0 connector and its reading 16 volts DC. A 40mm 24v fan works fine on it ...
