Re: Klipper on MakerGear M3
Are you using the "Z_ENDSTOP_CALIBRATE" tool? And then you adjusted the z height by using the "TESTZ Z=-.1" command (just an example - you can use any value for the command.) I have a macro on my Octoprint that does this so I don't have to keep typing the command. I don't know, but I think if it is ...

Re: Change Startup Order of Probe
I don’t have the oozing issue you have on my m3-id. The mesh leveling never deposits anything. However, I have been using PrusaSlicer instead of Simplify3D and I think there is a retraction in the end gcode script that helps with this. Can you add that to S3D ending script? I seems to retract about ...

Re: Ultra One Bed Leveling Procedure
I don’t have an Ultra One, but I do have an M3-ID rev 1. I also have a number of other printers and many have 3rd-party controller boards. I have reached the limit of what I can do with the rambo board in the M3-ID. So I’m experimenting with two other boards right now, a Fysetc Spider and a BTT Octo...

Re: Mirror mode? How?
No, that mode would not allow for simultaneous printing. I'm looking for the feature that switches the printer into mirror mode. There's a code that switches it to duplication mode so that both extruders print the exact same thing simultaneously with the plate divided in half in the y-axis. The mirr...

Re: Mirror mode? How?
Yes, it would be a slicer setting. Any idea how to do it?

Mirror mode? How?
I thought I read somewhere that the M3-ID is able to print in mirror mode. I have some parts that would work great in this mode but I can't figure out how to access it. It's different than the duplication mode. Does anyone know how to get this working?

Re: M3/M2 Enclosure
I need the enclosure for printing polycarbonate. I have another printer inside the enclosure I made for PC and it works great. But I wanted to be able to make 2-color parts with the M3-ID. I do print a lot of PETG but switched to PC on some parts because some of them started to warp badly in very ho...

Re: M3/M2 Enclosure
Very old post but I purchased one of these from Partsbuilt recently so I could save time building one myself. I was particularly keen on how it vents the electronics box outside the enclosure, possibly eliminating the need to mount the electronics outside. Well, I was disappointed with it. I tried i...

Re: Uneven extrusion?
Possibly the set screws on the motor pulley are loose. I had a similar look on one of my printers and I traced it to the gears on the motor.

Re: Firmware and Octoprint Updates
I have had no issues using the non-MakerGear version of Octoprint on the M2 or the M3-ID. I’m also using PrusaSlicer instead of Simplify3D for everything except dual modes on the M3. I say this because I think it’s fine to experiment. There doesn’t seem to be any risk with using standard Octoprint, ...
