Re: PLA Temperatures?
I do not have as much experience as others, but for adhesion I usually set the bed to 75 degrees for a couple layers before letting it drop to 70 and have had no warping between the PLA and the Kapton tape. I have also heard you can try hairspray or a glue stick, but I have never had the need.

Re: Octoprint/LCD
Thanks for the input. I got Octoprint working and have already run a couple prints through it.
It was a lot easier then expected.

Re: Bed Leveling tip
I had been playing around with just hitting home z button, but found that the z motor will turn off after a short period of time and the bed will drop. Does this stop that?

Octoprint/LCD
I have been have connectivity problems between the computer and my printer for a couple of days, and I am working with Josh to try and fix that, but I am strongly considering getting the LCD mount and setting up Octoprint on a raspberry pi so that more than one person can start prints. Previously we...

Thank you. I think that is it. I just started printing a small cube basically on the edge and it is working.

Re: Printing Without Raft
So I re-leveled the bed twice so that the nozzle was dragging on the sticky note at each corner. Then I tried printing with the First Layer Height at 90% and 50%. It appears as if the extruder is not putting out enough filament. Is it just not feasible to be printing directly on the bed with .1mm re...

Re: Printing Without Raft
Thanks for the quick reply. I am building with PLA. So far I have leveled the bed, I have moved it up once printing has started using the z-axis a couple of times. I have also changed the gcode z-axis offset a little. I think it is something in Simplify3D as printing straight gcode, the bracelet, fr...

Printing Without Raft
I am hoping you guys can help me. I have been printing on my M2 using Simplify3D for a while now, but I have always used a raft and supports, after lifting my model up 1mm. I wanted to to try printing directly onto the heated bed without a raft and it will not print. My hot end is not jammed, if I c...
