Re: Extruder Motor Connector Pins Failing
As a follow up, I did call again and got a hold of them. They sent it to me right away and it seemed to fix that problem however, now I'm not getting the smooth prints I was set up with since I put in the new wiring... back to the drawing board to fine tune things again.

Re: Bed stops heating
It failed right by the deans connector (the red connector right off the bed). I ended up just hard wiring it as every time I'd fix it, it would fail someplace else down the line because of the movement.

Extruder Motor Connector Pins Failing
So I have a problem with the wires staying in the extruder motor on the white connector... those pins give and the wires come out wrecking a print. I've emailed tech support the pics, etc. without a reply for a week. Called today and no answer. I've been down for over a week. Every time I try and fi...

Re: Bed stops heating
It was a split wire, missed it the first go round as the heat shielding was still holding.

Best place to get belts
I'm looking to get a spare set of belts... I can't find them on the makergear site anyplace and was wondering where people are getting their belts (if any). I know in S3D the movement speed defaults were insanely fast and could chew belts up. I slowed mine down to prevent this and have been printing...

Re: How to get a smooth finish on a PLA printed part
It boils at 150 Degrees F. The first stuff I used didn't have THF and the vapor was heavier... it also was slower (yellow can stuff) and more controllable. The tan bottle of PVC primer has THF in it and oh my gosh it will smooth a part in 8 seconds flat.. I wrecked a part because I pulled it out wit...

Re: How to get a smooth finish on a PLA printed part
I've only just heard about this now so I haven't tried THF yet. I do know that pvc pipe cleaner has it in it so I may also test the vapor method using that as it is cheaper and readily available everywhere. Of course proper protection, nice breather mask, venting (outside), fire extinguisher, buddy ...

Finishing a print before the end...
Yep, so I woke up to a finished print that was at the end of a spool... it's going to be a good day lol.
