It's connected via serial port connection ( /dev/ttyS0 ). You can see this in the Octoprint settings under the "Serial Connection" section. The rx/tx pins for this are on the GPIO header of the Raspberry Pi.

Will have to try this method... I've always used the 'Stop/Start printing at height' settings in the advanced tab of Simplify3D. What I didn't like about this method : 1. I've tried printing with the USB cable completely disconnected (used the LCD to start the print) and still having the same issue. It's also doing it much more frequently now. Going to try logging with verbose on to see if there are any issues showing up in the log. It just stops, all motors still lo...

Recently my M2 likes to stop in the middle of a print, at seemingly random points. The whole thing just stops, all motors. The printer is still 'On' ... all fans are running and the LCD is on.
