Re: M2 Auto-Leveling
Hi guys. I finally attempted this auto bed leveling feature. So far from my limited testing, it seems to work. Here is a video of it in action. https://youtu.be/V33DIzl-81I Sorry about my elementary video editing skills... Like Joe, I had to only modify my z probe offset value. I also just moved the...

Re: M2 Auto-Leveling
Thanks Joe. Can you post a picture of where and how you relocated your z-min micro switch to the bottom of the printer. That's the part that is confusing me. It looks as if Josh is using a optical switch instead of a mechanical one.

Re: esun petg
If you happen to live near a Microcenter store, they are selling PETG for about 25 bucks. I think its just rebranded esun. My local store had the blue on sale for 18 bucks. So far, I have been printing the blue color and my prints have been turning out great. I think I have found a replacement for t...

Re: M2 Auto-Leveling
Joe, does this automatically set your z height then? Any chance you could post a video of the auto-leveling process in action?

Re: Yet Another MakerGear Tool Holder for the M2
Jules, you mention you use a bubble level to check the bed. How does that work? I was under the impression using a bubble level to check the levelness of the bed does nothing as the bed needs to be level to the nozzle, not earth. Anyway, thanks for the tool-holder.

Re: M2 Auto-Leveling
This is awesome. One of the things I dread most is leveling the bed as I can never remember which screws do what. I would try this out, but would probably need a little more hand holding.

Re: thread-locking insert for Z-stop screw
Steve, I don't understand why having a V4 stops you from having to mess with the z-stop. Care to explain?sthone wrote:Oh yeah... I have a V4 I forgot I don't have to mess with the z-stop anymore (I might just do it to do it now though)

Re: Does this look infected?
I was swapping out my hotend with the new v4 and noticed this exact same issue on my drive gear. I was not able to tighten it all the way, but its a little better then before.

Re: Printing PET+ (banging my head on the table)
Do yourself a favor and start with Jims black PET+profile that he attached to one of his posts located here. http://forum.makergear.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=65&hilit=PET . It really helped me getting my PET+ to print nicely. I think the only thing I did was up the hotend temp by 5 degrees and turned ...

Re: Print Quality Help
Hi Keith. Since none of the print masters have chimed in yet, I will try and help you out. I am currently printing with the white MakerGear PLA, so I am not sure if its really different then the red in terms of settings. Can you upload the stl that you are trying to print. Also, it would be helpful ...
