Hi Jim,
Yep, seems to be working much better now.
Thanks,
Mike

Re: s3d v3.0.1 release
Hi all, I am having issues with the final couple layers of my prints since doing the 3.0.1 update; the prints slow down and the extruder jams because of heat issues and retraction of filament. I have adjusted the retraction of extruder speed to 1100mm/min and also adjusted the temp on extruder as we...

Re: Just picked up a M2
Hi :) Like Tim, I would suggest the 24V upgrade. I did mine just last month and the heat issues with burned connectors via heat related issues is gone. But (and here i feel abliged to tell you that an injury is not worth the risk) if you plan on sticking with the 12/19v split power supplies, use med...

Re: Burned out board
Thanks, Ed :) Just squared away with the block connector that can handle 18A... hopefully it holds up :o My power supply is the 12v 19v split from 2 years ago. It works fine when the contacts are on. Maybe i just need to reduce vibration while printing and connections will hold better... Are you usi...

Re: Burned out board
Thanks, Tim :) You were correct; pins were coated with carbon(melted plastic) and the one micro fuse was burnt. I am still having problems with the block connector; see previous message. I am getting proper voltage now from supply; thanks. Do you have any suggestions? Someone suggested removing pins...

Block connector probs
Hi all, I am having problems with my 12v supply block connector; it keeps burning out -- cannot tolerate current going through it. These are replacement 2pin block connectors from the local e store. Does anyone have a quick solution? Or where to get 2pin block connectors in Canada that can tolerate ...
