Makergear is closed for the holidays and I need black ABS filament. I was wondering which company I should buy my black ABS in the mean time?

Can someone upload their fff files for PLA and ABS? I thought I saved my files from V2.22, but I don't know where they are.

Re: Extruder thermocouple
Thanks for the feedback! I was thinking it was a loose or as you suggested a broken wire.

Extruder thermocouple
Hi all, I've recently had issues where it would stop at what seems the same height on a print. I did a complete PM, but the issue continued. Today, the fan in the RAMBO box started to make noise and I have no reading from the thermocouple attacked to the extruder. Maybe the board overheated? I hope ...

Simplify3D - Missing support Structure
Hi all, So, I'm print a part that has holes on one side of the wall... Obviously I need support for these holes or the filament would droop since they have nothing underneath them when it prints. I click in the support tab, added support, choose both parts and when I preview the parts, some holes ha...

Hi All, In the past two months, I have been working with ABS and feel I have pass the grasshopper stage and wanted to print more detailed objects. I don't think ABS is not the right material to use for things like the picture/STL I've included (the part is about 2 inches long). I think the top part ...

Re: Filament Drive
Conclusion: Alignment was the issue. I fiddled with the extruder and the filament continued on it's merry way! thanks again to all for the helpful suggests! Mike if its only going in 1-2cm then a clog is not your issue. after passing the drive gear its either no going in the lower hole of the filame...

Re: Filament Drive
So an update... The filament drive works fine, but the filament is block somewhere... I feel the filament get pull down, but only a bit... when I retracted it, I see only teeth marks in about 1-2cm of the filament. So, it seems I have misaligned something, something is too loose or jam in the extrud...

Filament Drive
Hi All, So I went to clean the filament area and took apart the piece that holds the V3B. I did get a lot of stuff cleaned out and and clean the teeth of the filament drive (didn't want to remove the nozzle until I order a new one incase I break it) and put everything back together. Got everything t...

Re: Filament stuck
Hi, Only been using ABS on the V3B extruder. I'm going to clean the nozzle out tonight... I heard maybe acetone bath, but more so a blow torch will remove clogs... Have you been using ABS only? I used to get a lot of jams on the V3 (they stopped happening on the V3b in retrospect...) switching betwe...
