Re: Problems getting a reply from tech support?

The Makergear people have always been quick to respond to my issues. I had a question when I first got mine and the owner responded late on a Friday. I've been printing heavy for over a year. Makerware

Has anybody used Makerware to create g code for the M2? I like the way it handles dual extruders but it appears to drive the axis in reverse. I wonder if makerware uses some codes that marlin doesn't accept. Would a correct machine profile and start code make the g code file useable?

Re: Right extruder keeps clogging with this model

I had the same issue with pla and the fist few layers. I think that the tip was moving over some drool and getting plugged from the blobs on the glass. I haven't seen this with ABS on the right side.

Re: Dual extruder frog

Nice frog. I also had to use the brim to keep the tower from getting knocked over. The only problem was it was harder to see that I was over extruding. It was evident after I trimmed off the shield.

Re: Dual extruder parts

I used the retract code that's on the makergear dual wiki in the slicing paragraph. Just put the code in the scripts tab in S3d.

Re: Dual extruder parts

If you used S3d, did you do the shift/ align object command to put both models over each other? Have you printed anything that worked to verify the head offset?
