Did another test, this time with the fan on, and z axis slightly adjusted.
It was a slight improvement, but I still get warping in the exact same area.
I'd best describe the area as the inner part of the bracelet that faces the fan. The lower half of the bracelet gets it the worst.

Re: First M2 print [bracelet] is looking bad, but why?
The side of the bracelet that is facing up in that picture....is that the bottom of the print? If so it almost looks like your first layer is way too smushed (so to speak) you may need to also set your z height better. -Steve Yes that's the bottom of the print. I'll try adjusting the z height in my...

Hmm. The test I ran before that one had the fan on, and showed more warping. The fan off was the subsequent experiment I posted above.sthone wrote:Turn the fan back on with PLA.![]()

Okay, I ran another couple of tests and got better results. However there are still imperfections. In the image below I show the bracelet print, and it has small holes and and a slight wavy warped pattern in the area closest to the camera. https://www.hive-rd.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/m2-c...

Re: First M2 print [bracelet] is looking bad, but why?
I ran a second test with no fan and got exactly the same results. I checked the page that came with the packaging, and sure enough, it turns out I have a spool of PLA and not ABS! So I'll run another test later or tomorrow with the proper temperatures and see what that gets me. Thanks for the replies.

First M2 print [bracelet] is looking bad, but why?
Trying my first print today, and the bracelet is what I've chosen.
Here's the image:

Any ideas what is going on? I am using the black ABS that MakerGear supplied.
Thanks
