Re: simplify3d v3.0

Can someone upload their fff files for PLA and ABS? I thought I saved my files from V2.22, but I don't know where they are. v3 added pre-configured profiles for the M2 dual, so they should already have settings for the entire Makergear family of machines. I would try their recommended profiles first.

Re: Well, this is heartbreaking.........

Just move the part so it prints right beside the scratched tape. I do this with mine all the time, printing in different areas until I finally destroy every square inch of the tape. Then I finally rip it off any apply a new patch.

But yea, definitely gotta get that nozzle to stay put first ;)

Re: simplify3d v3.0

Jules - I ran a few prints and the honeycomb is printing just fine for me. I wonder if what happened on your print is that the first few layers didn't stick well enough, which means that each subsequent honeycomb layer didn't have much to stick to. The extruder moves pretty quick while it's printing...

Re: Simplify3D profile with working materials/quality button

Re: Anyone have any experience with BuildTak?

It's worked well for me on some printers that didn't have a heated bed like our Rep2, but the M2's heated glass performs better and you have the bonus that when the bed cools, the part basically releases itself.

Re: simplify3d v3.0

Holy cow! This update has TONS of new features. Have you guys looked at the full changelog yet? https://www.simplify3d.com/software/changelog/ And it sounds like there were a bunch of minor fixes and improvements that weren't even mentioned on there from the big overhaul. I'm impressed. Update: I ju...
