Re: Why not update FW for M2 printers?
I have created a public fork of the Marlin firmware with my changes on github. https://github.com/dlsharp/Marlin.git The changes for the M2 are on the 1.1.x-m2 branch. Please note that my changes are for a very early version of the M2, so there are bound to be hardware differences between my printer...

Re: Why not update FW for M2 printers?
I have just recently upgraded a *very* early version of the M2 to the latest 1.x Marlin release with BLTouchSupport. The only outstanding issue is false thermal runaway errors on the bed heater. I've currently got thermal protection for the bed heater disabled, but plan to work on getting a real fix...

Re: Extruder keeps slipping
Could this be a loose or broken stepper motor wire?

Re: Tool Change script for S3D
Sorry for the delayed response. https://photos.app.goo.gl/RjNPdJzA8rp9iK9w7 https://photos.app.goo.gl/RjNPdJzA8rp9iK9w7 It works well enough. Slicers didn't have the priming tower feature at the time I was making this, so the transitions are not as good as they should be. My experiment with soluable...

Re: Bed won't heat...
My printer is now back up and running, but with the firmware on the Rambo, I had to home my Z-Axis in a funny way. Basically I have to issue M18 to turn off the motors, G4 P6000 to wait long enough for the z-axis to finish dropping to the bottom, G92 Z207 to set the current z-position to 207mm. Afte...

Re: Bed won't heat...
Ok, so after printing a replacement motor mount on my Mosaic, I was able to get everything physically installed, however I still have a problem, and I think it has to do with my machine home toward z-min rather than z-max. As soon as my z endstop triggers, the firmware resets. Looking at the termina...

Re: Bed won't heat...
So I'm working wiring up the 24v power supply and v3b->v4 extruder upgrade, and I get to the point where I'm supposed to use the 4x M2-18 bolts to connect the mounting plate to the belt clamp. Unfortunately, the nuts in the clamp seem to be M2.5, so my bolts are too small. Should I have received 4x ...

Re: Layer shifts sometimes
Does the enclosure include your electronics? You might be getting sporadic thermal cutoff on your stepper drivers due to the high ambient temp caused by the enclosure.

Bed won't heat...
I was in the middle of a print when all of a sudden I noticed that my bed temps had started dropping. After the print was complete, nothing I did could get the bed to start heating again. Measuring the voltage across the bed power pins, I get 12v. However as soon as I apply a load, the voltage drops...
