Re: bed upgrade -fried my motherboard - tiny fuse

Thanks for your help. Turning the Z motor wire connector around 180 degrees solved it. The motor was turning the wrong direction. I managed to get up early enough to call Makergear (a 16 hour time difference). They told me to turn it around - the firmware was faulty. And apparently I had initially p...

Re: bed upgrade -fried my motherboard - tiny fuse

Thanks. The Mother Board now appears fine and the correct firmware is uploaded. It had something to do with the new z stop (now placed on the bottom of the z shaft) turning the usb connection off. The problem may be slowly progressing with the US support guy after a week...each question takes 24 hou...

Re: where to replace broken glass plate?

Do you know if glaziers sell flat pieces of Borosilicate glass, cut to size? (I'll call Monday and see if any speak english AND sell Borosilicate glass.) Otherwise I need to send it from Makergear using expensive 2-3 day international Fedex.

where to replace broken glass plate?

Can I simply buy any plate glass at a glass shop to replace a broken glass plate? My piece stuck to the plate glass a bit too well. I'm in Berlin. I don't speak German and I am under the gun to complete prints next week.
