That worked pretty well. Thanks insta.
One thing though, two-fifty was way too low. I went with three-eighty.

Re: How To: Take Apart the V4 Hot End for Cold Cleaning
Did that! I cannot push anything through. Oh yeah, it's PETG causing the issue.

Re: How To: Take Apart the V4 Hot End for Cold Cleaning
So...
What if your clog/jam/solidassplasticchunk isn't in the nozzle end? What if it's solid way up into the heater block? Like, jammed above the heater block? I can't torch it right? 'Cause of the plastic liner that in it. V4, single extruder.
What do I do?

Re: Dehumidifying Your Filament
Perhaps the silica only pulls moisture from the air, not the plastic. That would make sense given just how long it take to dry out plastic using an oven. If that's the case, you'll never actually dry anything with just silica gel. You can keep it dry though once you've got it dry though.

If rice absorbed water it would "cook" if you left a bowl out on a humid day. It don't, so it don't!
Nice debunking everyone! Well, everyone except Jules since all she did was feed bugs. Nice bug feeding Jules!

Re: Is there something strong like ABS, but sticky like PLA?
I had many great prints with the V3b using PETG. Well, right up until I boned everything and locked up my entire hot end with solid PETG. Don't do that.swbluto wrote:Pretty cool. I read this requires the V4 hotend for the 250C recommended extruder temperature?
