Re: controller board fan trouble.
Happy to report back that I'm AOK now. Everything seems like it is working. I wish I knew exactly what I did that fixed it all up, but I definitely, did a careful reseating of the electronics.

Re: controller board fan trouble.
Ok, so I am still stuck. If anyone can give me some troubleshooting advice (in easy to understand terms), that would be great - as my fan really isn't working at this point. Thanks.

Re: controller board fan trouble.
Hi Ednisley, Thanks for taking the time to reply. All fo the wiring is how it came from the factory (I didn't do any wiring) - years back (so I'm assuming it is correct). I haven't changed anything. Those two exposed wires are from the original location of the fan. I was assuming they would connect ...

Hi, I thought I'd do a super simple fan upgrade to make my m2 quite. But now my fan isn't working at all. In the below picture, does that right light tell me anything ? Hi guys just some basic background. My printer was down for a bit, and try as I might I couldn't get it to print out well, so I figured it was time to upgrade to the v4 hotend, hoping that would help solve some issues. It actually did, and I'm happy to report I am back to successfully printing some ...

Re: Rev. E using Simplify3D
I'm pretty new to this too, but I can answer this part at least - Yes this is normal.
2) Is the 8-10 inches of extruded material off the print bed normal and part of a good printing process? Are there other obvious Simplify3D features I should adjust?

Re: first layer temperature
So Happy, Really it seems I had 2 issues. 1 - A cracked extruder mount, and two gap between bed & extruder was off. Fixing those two things had really put me in a much better printing position ! If your new & having troubles, this is definitely the place to come, as the users here have been so nice ...
