Ultra One (U1) USB Stick Not Accessible
Hello, The touch interface for the U1 appears to give the option to load files from USB, so I would guess that I should be able to stick a flash drive into the USB port on the side of the machine and then bring up a gcode files from the "Load File" menu item. It never recognizes that there are any f...

Ultra One First Impressions
It's awesome. I ordered one at work a few months ago and at this point I've been working with it for a few weeks. We haven't done much needing dual-head functionality yet but I'm impressed by the print quality; It outdoes my M2 and it blows away our TAZ. First time setup was easy and the build quali...

Re: anyone know if the THE OLSSON RUBY Nozzle works with the M2?
I've never considered stainless to be suitable proxy for hardened steels when hardness is called for, but it does of course depend on the hardening process. My go-to hardened nozzles for Makergear printers are these: https://www.3dxtech.com/makergear-m2-hercules-a2-hardened-steel-nozzle/, which shou...

Re: anyone know if the THE OLSSON RUBY Nozzle works with the M2?
This is an old post but I couldn't resist: I had switched my M2 from the V4 hotend to an e3d Titan, which required some time consuming modifications. After almost a year running that way I started to run into reliability problems which I could only attribute to the e3d (feed issues that I attributed...

Re: Input Requested: What are your favorite filaments?
1. What is your most commonly used filament grade and manufacturer? eSun ePC (like isnta, I have no use for ABS, ever, and don't see PETG as a great ABS substitute) 2. How would you rate its ease of use (scale of 1 - 5, 5 being easiest)? 3 3. What are some of your other favorites and their ease of ...

Re: Filament Drive Gear Worn Out by Carbon Filament
Thanks Jason, A relevant update: I received my (standard material) replacement in the mail today and just installed it. My M2 is from 2014 and the teeth on the original gear are very course as compared to the new, so no telling if it will wear the same way. Still, I assume the new style isn't harden...

Filament Drive Gear Worn Out by Carbon Filament
Hello all, the Subject says it. I can post a photo if there's interest, but my drive gear has a nasty groove worn into it since starting to use carbon-filled filaments with regularity. Incidentally, I already switched to this ( https://www.3dxtech.com/makergear-m2-hercules-a2-hardened-steel-nozzle/ ...

Rambo Price Difference?
I'm sorry for this unabashedly miserly question, but Ultimachine sells the RAMBo v1.3 for $150 and Makergear has it at $170. Is there a difference?
My RAMBo 1.1b smoked itself today.
