Re: M2 Dual extruder. No power to both extruders
I have dual extruder M2 and neither extruder motor runs. Do they run off the same chip? Seems unlikely that both blew at the same time. And I never unplugged them when they were on.

M2 Dual extruder. No power to both extruders
I had to repair the usb connector on my rambo board and after reassembling everything works except the extruders. Neither of them do anything. XYZ motors and homing work fine Bed heats up Both extruders heat to temperature Extruder fan and controller fan run Bed fan runs with m106 command All 3 fuse...

Re: Table falling down in a middle of a print
Doh! Nevermind. My problem is (mostly) just me being stupid. We sliced the part wrong and the raft and model were printing with different extruders. The first extruder (for the model) was at the wrong temperature (40C) so the firmware prevented cold extrusion after it finished the raft. It st...

Re: Brims vs Rafts?
For large prints (approx. 8" in X or Y) we have given up using any technique other than rafts. We use a 0.3mm airgap when using 0.2mm step height, and 0.2mm airgap with 0.1mm step height. Bed cooling fan is disabled. Bed is at 70C.
This has pretty much eliminated all warping issues with large prints.

Re: Table falling down in a middle of a print
I've just been experiencing a very similar problem but very early in the print (after just a few layers) The key difference is I see that the hot end had turned off also, so the even though the X/Y movement continues, nothing is extruded. Even though the bed had fallen to the bottom, the Z motor was...

Re: No temperature reading in Pronterface
You're right, it doesn't show anything useful with debug G-code enabled. AFAIK nothing has changed since the previous print. Although having said that, before this happened we had just hit (what I've been assuming is a completely unrelated problem) of very poor prints. As if the feed rate is wrong. ...

Re: No temperature reading in Pronterface
I know that both Rx and Tx work because if I remove the SD card, I don't get the last message that says the SD card is ok (it says it failed instead) But after that, if I send an M105 command, I only see the Rx LED flash once. I never see the Tx LED flash ever again. (Which is consistent with what I...

No temperature reading in Pronterface
My M2 has suddenly decided not to report any temperatures back to Pronterface. Pronterface seems to connect just fine (last thing it says is SD card is OK). But nothing I do gives me back a temperature reading. Not the graph, the status bar nor the console window. Sending a manual M105 command has n...
