Re: print shifts slightly to the left mid print
Do ALL of these things, in this order: 1. If you insist on using masking tape on the plate - spray a thick layer of hairspray on top of the masking tape, let it dry completely, spray another thick layer of hairspray. If you want to do it in one pass, spray until it puddles on the tape, then spread ...

Re: print shifts slightly to the left mid print
when that layer shift happened, was the part already curling up? your nozzle may have hit the side of the print and skipped a step. Yes it was already curling up before it shifted. However, the level of the last layer looked dead flat and it was not curling as well. I should also mention that the m...

Re: print shifts slightly to the left mid print
Enable "Z Retraction Lift" or "Z-Hop" (whatever your slicer calls it), set it to 0.2mm, try again. I tried that and there is still lifting. Its always lifting in the same place on the bed. I am running 60 on the bed and 210 for layer 1 and 215 for layer 2... I am trying some of the settings from an...

print shifts slightly to the left mid print
I think the title pretty much says it all. Somehow the model shifts mid print. Take a look at the image. Have you guys seen anything like this before. Its not the first time this has happened. I'm also having adhesion problems and am cycling through the different suggestions so the bottom of the pri...

Re: job went sideways and 180 degrees
Hey, I am not sure what you mean by this Print a calibration block, from that get your Z-Offset, and your extrusion multiplier I will try your recommendations for sure and see how that turns out. The pictures show that the model printed ok however there is a layer on top of the holes which isn't sup...

job went sideways and 180 degrees
Hi :-) As you can see from the pictures something went horribly wrong. The bottom moved right around, like 180 degrees and the other layers...well they shifted all over the place. I am new to 3D printing and I have printed a handful of things before without issues and I changed a couple of settings ...

Re: Before I buy, any suggestions
Awesome reply. Thank you! It seems the aussie dollar against the US is pretty crap but has improved in the last few days so that tiny move has saved me abut $120. lol Time to purchase the printer. I asked in the filament forum about suppliers in Australia for PLA that's ok to use with the M2. Any id...

Good source of filament in Australia
Are there any filament suppliers that anyone in Australia recommends for the M2?
I haven't bought the printer yet, but trying to decide whether to get a few rolls from MakerGear or get some locally.
