Re: How long can you keep filament
I am planning on buying a lot of filament so I can open up a 3D Hubs hub. How long before filament goes bad when properly stored? (In a sealed container with rice at the bottom) The filaments I would buy would be PLA, ABS, Nylon, and Ninjaflex. Thanks for your help! -Cyber_Gram Ive had well stored ...

Thanks for the help
I'll contact MakerGear about getting just a hot end for V4.

Nozzle and Heater replacement question
My heater block jammed (Not the nozzle) and I could not find a tutorial on how to fully disassemble it, so I just decided to order a new hot end (V3B). My MakerGear M2 has a V4 hot end (Or whatever the current ones ship with). It looks like the V4 hot end mounts and V3B hot end mounts are different ...

Jammed M2 Nozzle
Hello, I am having problems with a jammed nozzle on my M2. The jam is inside the heating area (Or whatever the area after the little "opening" is called). The filament will just be stopped dead (Tried feeding it by hand - still was stopped dead there..) once it reaches the begging of the heater area...

Re: How to cool filament faster/How do tighter tolerances
You're selecting some pretty tough files. (I hadn't even tried any of those yet, because all of that internal architecture is difficult in the first place.) I am currently running that wrench print, to see how it goes, and if it works, I'll have another recommendation for you to try. (It was the qu...

Re: How to cool filament faster/How do tighter tolerances
Ahhhh....okay. Hmmmmn. You're doing all the right things, your nozzle temps are on the low side, which is good. You've got extra fan directed towards the prints which should help with the cooling and keeping things from sticking where they are not supposed to. i can only think of a couple of things...

Re: How to cool filament faster/How do tighter tolerances
Both of those files are designed with hidden internal support that does create some fusion. They are supposed to be twisted or cut with a sharp knife to remove the support and allow the parts to move freely. (Check the descriptions.) Any of the "fully assembled" models you see on Thingiverse are li...

How to cool filament faster/How do tighter tolerances
Hello, I am fairly new to the MakerGear M2 (I've had it for 3-4 weeks), and 3D Printing in general. I am trying to print a platform jack (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:925556) and a wrench (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:139268). I am having problems with the different pieces getting fused toge...

Re: How do you control fans in Slicer, and bed adhesion prob
Thanks for the replies! I am using a glue stick and it helps with bed adhesion a lot. I think my bed may be un-level, too, so I will look into that.
