Re: Testers Needed
I've run a number of prints now with the new system and am a huge fan. Presently I've got a very large flat part printing, and the leveling is spot on. The new Z-endstop location is great and eliminates the weakest point of the original setup. Further, it doesn't look like the leveling has changed i...

Re: Testers Needed
Having run a couple quick prints with the new system, I'm definitely impressed with the leveling. It is way easier. The Z-height feature provides an okay starting point, but my machine needed some adjustments. Dialing in the Z-height with a cold extruder makes for a sort of mashed up first layer, in...

Re: Testers Needed
Working through the setup with the quickstart software, I ran into the same problem jimc was having with the extruder crashing into the platform. I'm running a V3b with a dual power supply on some old tweaky firmware. To get it figured out I opened s3d and jogged my Z-axis up to the point where the ...

Re: Polypropylene
Have you had any success with this? I'm thinking of ordering some polypro filament.

Hi All, After a series of mishaps (HPB wire melted the board connectors, E0 motor driver died, surface mount fuse blown) and a lengthy patient string of tech support emails with Josh, that prince, I have a working M2 again. However, now after this series of events, all the steppers are making a high...
White PLA
So I picked up a spool of white PLA from Makergear and am having a hell of a time getting it dialed in. The infill begins on the first two layers as the straight lines that one would expect, and then becomes sparse and blobby, leaving a curdled looking layer full of holes, which in turn causes holes...

Re: Not sure if it's hardware or software
I upgraded to the correct firmware and then reinstalled simplify. That did the job.

Not sure if it's hardware or software
Hi everybody, So I just upgraded my hot end to the V3b with the core for the 19V machines. At the same time I upgraded to the new version of Simplify. For a second I was able to successfully extrude and control the machine, but now Simplify seems to freeze after a few seconds, or immediately followi...

Re: No heat in the bed
Eventually Karen at tech support shipped me new 2 pin molex connectors to replace the melted ones. As it turns out, the process was a little bit harrowing since the version of my Rambo board had one 12 pin molex socket, rather than 6 two pin sockets. After a couple deep breaths, I cut off the melted...
