Looking for 1.75mm gold ABS filament

Looking for the closest thing (in ABS) to 14 kt bright (yellow) gold. I have tried several and they are more mustard or are "golden" - more like an antique gold color. This is for some replica gold medallions for an awards event. Will acetone vapor polish after printing. Any help appreciated!

Re: Modified Ikea enclosure

I used part number 902.918.58 (SINDVIK series) for the glass door and 502.916.76 for the rear door with the remainder shell being the STUVA series 301.281.77. Hinges were 802.612.58 and led light bar set was 201.194.18. Again, had to add 4 high quality 90 degree brackets inside at the top because i ...

I also put another door (solid) on the ...

Re: Modified Ikea enclosure

I did post the male and female STL files for the cable gland as well as the fan shroud, but looks like they have to be approved by the moderator before they actually show up. I find that the fan certainly makes for a better controlled temperature for larger prints - as well as it allows the door to ...

Re: Modified Ikea enclosure

The fan blows out, as blowing in would cause too much of a direct draft. With two grommet holes and the cracks around the doors, there is plenty of air-space to pull air in. No problem sharing the files... either STL's and/or SolidWorks files. The fan housing is for an ebmpapst 3900. It is a 115v fa...

Re: Modified Ikea enclosure

IMG_0261.JPG IMG_0261.JPG Here is what I ended up building... some of the Ikea parts were obsoleted, so I had to substitute others - still worked out great! I designed and printed the cable grommets as well as the fan enclosure. I routed the wires for the fan through the inside of the cabinet top a...
