Re: Benchy quality issues.

If I remember correctly the last time I printed one I noticed that the front of the boat was using bridging due to settings. Check for bridging on the preview.

I'm a hub member and notice the same thing. It's almost a worthless venture.

You need to revisit your extruder tab in S3D.

What is your extrusion multiplier?
What is your extrusion width set to? Auto? Manual?

What brand of PLA?

Retraction settings?

Re: M3 - Z height changes at start of print

My advice. In S3D, delete all your profiles.

Goto the Makergear Github, and download the .fff file for the M3.

Create a new stl file.

Try to print.

Re: Trouble with printing Marvin

Printing way too hot - what temp are you printing at?

You should first try to print with .2mm layer.

What are your fan settings?

Re: remove Elmer's Extra Strength Glue Stick from Kapton

Glue stick just needs water. Take the plate off, turn on the faucet and let water run over it. Try cold or hot, see what works best. I use that and a sponge to remove.

Re: Lossing Bed Level

YOU SHOULD NEVER TRY TO REMOVE A PRINT FROM THE BED WHILE ON THE PRINTER!

Sorry that I had to scream, but I can tell you with 100% confidence not only will this knock your bed out of level, it will ruin the linear bearings that the bed rides on. Ask me how I know.

Re: New method for making parts stick and come off easily

Test001.jpg I picked up a can on my way home from work tonight to test out. I print a lot of black so I figured white would be better to see what was going on with the first layer. The first layer went down nice and stuck pretty well. I had a slight bit of corner lift by the end but my z height was...

Re: New method for making parts stick and come off easily

Pretty interesting. I will have to pick up a can sometime soon.

Any pics of the bed? Does it go on evenly?
