Latest model i made

I am not sure I shared those and since I just read that this forum is a bit quieter then it used to be I decided to do my part to help this great company (my first 3d printer still working now 4 years later!!! with really no a problem other than normal maintenance) two different house you can find t...

Re: MakerGear still in business?

my view on the forum going quieter is different. Nowadays there are so many other entry-level machines that cost much less, so the people that would really use the forums (very green to 3d printer) don't usually buy this type of machine as much cheaper exist (300-600$ type) people that buy this mach...

Re: .25 Stainless nozzle?

glass or transparent material I would use DLP/LCD printer I used to do it all with FDM and I made some semi-transparent windows type but I was never really happy with it.

But ultimately i don't feel the need to put a glass unless is frosted transparent glass is fine to just leave the hole

Re: .25 Stainless nozzle?

it's funny as DLP is so different then FDM so what matter is how "tall" the object is not how large so u can print 4 car in the same time as 1 if they are next to each other but you have to print it with a slight angle I would say 4 hours at 0.05 and 10 hours at 0.02 (i tried to print at 0.02 and ma...

Re: .25 Stainless nozzle?

I wouldn't sleep next to mine but unless you are allergic or very sensitive some of the new and slightly more expensive resin are odorless (almost) the price of a machine is between 400$-500$ it's not cheap but absolutely affordable Added the second car and some detail I think printing a mix of the ...

Re: .25 Stainless nozzle?

I apologize for my English I just assure you that 0.25 is not a good nozzle if you need to go that small maybe you need to get a DLP machine (they have a very small print area, but if you feel the need to go 0.25 probably you are printing very small objects!) This is my latest model, and all floor a...

Re: .25 Stainless nozzle?

problem is that people just think as the universe end with themselves. the fact that your specific use is ok with .25 doesn't make it a reasonable nozzle if you printed a lot and not only that thing you will know that nozzle clog that the smaller the easier to clog and mass producing something like ...

Re: .25 Stainless nozzle?

it's harder to print harder to level it would probably get clogged easily and people would complain (as they always do) with the manufacture of the nozzle or the machine itself instead of understanding the limitation of the personal small device vs more industrial machine. not only the time of the p...
