Why don't you connect the output of Simplify3d or whatever you use to control the M2 to a serial port and see what it sends? Then replicate that traffic in matlab. There are USB analyzers for windows.

I have been considering a LCD for some time now. I build lots of electronic circuits, so a kit or bare board would be great.

Not sure of the correctness of this, but what I do is heat the extruder by turning it on in the manual controls. Once up to temperature, I back out the filament by running the extruder back 100. Once it comes out, I put in the new filament, and run the extruder forward till the remaining old filamen...

Long ago, 1965 or so, I was in Cub Scouts. My father and I made a hot air balloon model and filled it with hydrogen. On it's maiden flight it got somewhat near a light bulb and blew up with enough force to push both of us back into the wall. The balloon was a standard round kids birthday party ballo...

I also have been having this problem. It seemed worse when running Windows 10, so I switched back to Windows 7. It happens less frequently now. The other thing I was doing was, I have multiple USB devices plugged in. I have the M2, a Robo3D, and a DeltaPrintr as well as a Darkly Labs Emblaser, and a...
