Re: Flex Filament Stops Feeding

From my experience it could be 2 things. Flex doesn't work with high nozzle pressure. It could be that you are not heating and melting the filament fast enough to push through the nozzle with ease. Try increasing temp and/or decreasing speed. Flex doesn't work well with retraction. I do mine at 1.5m...

Re: Printing with Ninjaflex?

also best way to trouble shoot is to print a cylinder in vase mode and adjust the temperature on the fly. Start high then lower by 5 degrees until the bubbles disappear. bump your speed up to 1100mm/min (18mm/sec)

Re: Printing with Ninjaflex?

Here is a close up of a part I just pulled off the bed. .15 layer height https://drive.google.com/open?id=1ZiYntFIkc_wfldgiymwVo3A3J3MPzTcR all stock parts on the M3 so it is possible. either bump up your speed or drop the temp down to like 215-220 if your going really slow. The more time it spends ...

Re: Printing with Ninjaflex?

How do you get the stuff to feed smoothly? M2 with a .5 I can get it to "Print" but is is not smooth and .35 won't flow at all. Seems to be a feed problem more than anything.. I have a custom numbered scale built on my tension screw which is a thumb screw for more control and accurate repeatably, b...

Re: Printing with Ninjaflex?

95% of my prints are in either Ninjaflex or Cheetah. I have a M2 with .5 nozzle for big stuff and an M3-ID with .35 nozzle for the smaller stuff. I even got dual color ninjaflex parts printing.

changing extruder temps in official M3-ID .fff profile

Hello, I saved a copy of your (MakerGear's) PLA simplify3D profile, and renamed into to something else to give me a good starting point for another material. All changed values stick in this new profile except for the extruder temp value, it always reverts back to 190! Any idea why? I can't seem to ...

my first dual color print

Wanted to share my 1st dual material part print. Was very easy to do. Just used the standard PLA profile provided by maker gear. Enabled prime tower in S3D. I don't think the tower was necessary, when the tool heads switched they started in the infill so any imperfections would have been hidden. I w...

Re: Print Settings for PETG: eSUN Solid Black Filament

read your post, interesting, but looks very easy to mess up and run the nozzle into something it shouldn't. With new Rev. E machines the Z limit switch is in a different position (at the machine bottom). Basically all that should happen is nozzle stays off (cold), all axis's home, then nozzle moves...
