Re: Prints pulling up at corners
Well I was having legitimate warping problems with other models before this building, but I overcame those issues with the help from everyone. I printed an entire block of buildings adjacent to the project. I was having problems with warping on these too and they were just boxes with floors. Guess i...

Re: Prints pulling up at corners
Most of the building is completely hollow. Half of the bottom is a partially solid rectangular box with heavy infill. The other half is a complete car entry and exit for robotic underground parking garage. It's a void space that spans the length of building. Boss really wanted to show it like that, ...

Re: Prints pulling up at corners
That makes sense. I wish that was explained to me at the beginning of this frustrating process. Is there any kind of filter or something I can apply to the model to print it exaggerated in one direction so that when it shrinks it shrinks perfectly square?

Re: Prints pulling up at corners
Well, I guess I haven't tried this new brim technique with glue and hairspray. Maybe that will work.
I'm flipping the second model piece upside down and redoing supports so the top will be the bottom and be more square.

Re: Prints pulling up at corners
Woke up and print looks ok, No major warping at least. Before I took it off zebra plate it looks completely flush with plate The brim doesn't appear to have warped at all. No gaps. But then I carefully take it off, peel and cut away brim. And set the model on the table and it rocks. It is not perfec...

Re: Prints pulling up at corners
It's actually looking good so far. It's printed around story 4 now, and 13 more stories to go. And then the second print which I'm going to glue on top. Speaking of that, can you recommend a good glue? And if they don't match up perfectly maybe some kind of putty (bondo maybe) or something to fill i...

Re: Prints pulling up at corners
Yes plate is clamped. I've been trying to print this building for three weeks now. Been asking questions on here for two weeks. Read as much as I could. But so far, these are the best results I've seen. My boss is less than forgiving, and we had a last minute meeting come up with the money man.

Re: Prints pulling up at corners
I hear this clicking collision sound every now again and that worries me. Like the nozzle is hitting one of the supports as it zips by. I hope it doesn't dislodge the model. Is this because the zebra plate is not flat? Anything I can do to prevent this while its printing? I mean I'm a dead man, prob...

Re: Prints pulling up at corners
It's looking good so far. Just hope the brim is big enough, it's still only 5 mill from outer edge of a few supports even though I increased it to 20mm. The 3-4 layers seemed too thick to even seperate from the failed print earlier. So maybe 1 layer is better in that regard, so I can cleanly separate.
