Re: M2 print starts halfway up the Y-axis
Thank you very much, Ed, i will take a close look and see if it is the Y stop switch. when it happens, it happens before extruding the first layer. There are never any such errors during the print, and so as the y stop is only ever triggered during the startup routine, it seems quite plausible. i'll...

M2 print starts halfway up the Y-axis
on my M2, every now and then, my prints start shifted about 50mm up the Y axis. I have to reset the printer and then it usually works normally again. thing is, i can't seem to work out what causes the issue.
Anyone want to help me troubleshoot this?
thanks in advance,
Chuck

Re: Restoring Simplify3D Settings
Click the drop down next to profile and select the original profile for your printer. The one you are using probably says Modified next to it. I would suggest heading over to the Simplify3D site and watching all the videos and reading all the stuff posted as that is the extent of the documentation....

printable right hand filament drive for dual v4 extruder?
Dear folks, I want to set up a BL touch connected to the right hand extruder of my Dual M2. I havent found a model to print, so i would be happy to design my own by modifying the designs, but i can't find them anywhere. I did get to a repository here: https://github.com/MakerGear/M2/tree/master/Prin...

Re: trashed v4 hot end
Looks like the exact same thing happened to me. It broke off when I tried to remove the hotend though. I was doing a long unattended print, I was printing bluprint in this extruder at 290c, and smartabs in the other at 255C. http://imgur.com/a/6tMjp I opened a support ticket already. I am wondering...

Re: How To: Simplify3D Dual FFF Profiles for the M2
Hi Jules, do you have a profile for ABS (left extruder) PVA (right (support) extruder) ? if not, would be enough to know which basic profile to start with and what to change. i don't think i ever worked with PETG but if it is quite close to ABS, please let me know if that would be the one....! thanks

Re: M2 Dual extruder rotates in the belt mount (in the z-pla
Jules, thanks for this really thorough advice. i thought i had a different problem to the one you tried to help me with (it was rotating in the x plane) but your explanation helped me to take a different look at how the heads were screwed in, and led me to the discovery that the bolt down between th...

right extruder retracts instead and vice versa
Help! just testing my right extruder, and seems mechanically all in order, except it retracts when i tell it to extrude, and vice versa! it happens both on S3D and octoprint, so i suspect it is is either hardware or firmware at fault. the motor plus are all in the same orientation in the RamBo so i ...
