Re: Mysterious timer at top of website?
I think it is too soon for the Made of MakerGear 23010 Challenge. I think that was 99 days from mid June.

I am pleased to see as Mosaic is spreading the word about their Pallete 2, they are accompanied by a MakerGear.

Re: Two Community Events - We the Rosies & ERRF
Thank you Vicky and Tim!!! You are very welcome! I had a fantastic time (though most of my time was spent upstairs at Registration). I think between Tim and I, there were at least 3 Derby Cars printed by a MakerGear printer in the Top 15. Tim's car came in 8th with an average time of 3.2737 seconds...

Re: Nerfed acceleration on rev E?
One thing that would be helpful is a document or website that would explain what the numbers mean and more about each variable. Although this won't help with understanding the cause and effect of settings and the final print, I often refer to the G-code RepRap Wiki to learn about the numbers and th...

Re: Nozzle diameter settings
Although I have not tried a 0.25mm nozzle on the M3-ID, I do occasionally use one on my M2. If you need to go manual changes, my Simplify3D setting changes were in the following spots: Extruder Tab - Highlight the appropriate one in the Extruder List I changed Nozzle Diameter to 0.25 Extrusion Multi...

Re: First benchy -- tips?
Oh goodness. This is very different from the results I have gotten from M3-ID Rev 1 (though I haven't done a Benchy on this machine yet). You do typically print Benchy without supports. I'm assuming if you run some of the example prints that are already sliced and already in OctoPrint (like the Make...

M2 Sighting on eclipse2017.nasa.gov
I did a quick search for "NASA" and "eclipse" and I don't think this is a repeat (apologies if so). Thrilled to see a familiar face on NASA's Eclipse 2017 site! (I have such a sentimental, emotional attachment to the M2) https://eclipse2017.nasa.gov/2d3d-printable-pinhole-projectors M2 Sighting.png

M2 EduCraft Success
Listening to the WTFFF Podcast today with guests Mack Fixler and JohnGomm of EduCraft. They have some great things to say about the M2 and how dramatically it changed their summer camp.
