The plate was processed by another source. I cleaned off the layers of hairspray and examined the plate more closely. Actually, it is not as bad as originally thought. I will fine tune the adjustments, and see what happens. Thanks for the help.

Re: Fix a gouged MIC6 Plate

Zemlin, a variation of the scary sharp method of honing a plane blade with a sheet of sandpaper on a granite surface plate instead of affixed to a piece of glass. Many people utilize and recommend this method, especially those who build bamboo fly rods. An inexpensive surface plate is used for the a...

The nozzle gouged the sand blasted side of MIC6 aluminum plate while printing. Obviously, the adjustments are off and need addressed on my printer. Re: How to print objects that don't have a flat side?

You can do this in simplify in most cases. Simplify wont print anything below the bed so double click the model and lower the model in the z axis, print then flip it OR duplicate it and flip one then print both halves at the same time There's a write-up for what Jim is discussing here: http://forum...

G code automatic shutoff

I utilize Simplify 3D, and would like when the M2 is done running its prints for the night to automatically shut off. Maybe that is asking to much. However, is there a G code or something software related that could accomplish this?

Re: eSUN PETG Problem

It seems the problem is fixed, but will print some more tomorrow to make sure. I adjusted temp on extruder, slowed down the speed, and adjusted drive screw tension, so essentially trial and error. Thanks.
