Re: Printer noise I can't figure out

How do I post a 25MB video so you experts can listen to it and tell me if this is how my M2 is supposed to sound?

Re: Any heat resistant Plastics for GPS bracket in a boat?

I'll give them both a try. Already have the petg ordered.
(edit) I'll give both petg and epc a try. From what I've been reading about the issues with ABS, I don't think I will ever use that filament.

Re: Any heat resistant Plastics for GPS bracket in a boat?

The GPS would be mounted on top of the helm just under my windshield.
The boat is in a dry rack storage and covered when not in use, but when we have it out on the river it can get pretty hot here in Florida.

Any heat resistant Plastics for GPS bracket in a boat?

Are there any heat resistance plastics, that an M2 V4 extruder can handle, that would work as a mounting bracket for the GPS in my boat?
Is it even possible to find plastic filament that can create parts that could handle the heat?

Re: S3D virtual machine does not match M2 Bed

It's a little embarrassing that I didn't notice this initially. I wasn't thinking in 3D and only considered the components below the bed. I don't remember the setup instructions mentioning this, it may have, but if the clips at the top (back) edge of the glass aren't parallel with the Y-axis, they w...

Re: S3D virtual machine does not match M2 Bed

I've discovered the problem finally.
Nothing but a simple case of me not being very observant.
I now have use of the full length of the bed in the Y-axis.
Thanks for all your help.

Re: S3D virtual machine does not match M2 Bed

No grinding at all and the machine homes everything as it should.
I'd like to find a large .g file produced by another slicer other than S3D that I can print from an SD card to see if S3D is the issue.

Re: S3D virtual machine does not match M2 Bed

Here's what I get with the switch closed... Y_min: TRIGGERED M119.JPG And then open...Y_min:open M119 open.JPG What does it mean? The bed will move full forward with the jog controls in S3D. It travels all the way to the stop. But it will not do it while printing. Doesn't seem like a hardware issue ...
