I've had good luck with PEI on my Makergear M2 Rev E. I bought a Lulzbot PEI sheet for a Lulzbot Taz 5, affixed it to the top of the glass and then used a pair of sharp scissors to trim it to size after it was applied. I had a couple of clogs with a V4 .35 nozzle - turns out there was a piece of filament hanging out in the extruder I burned one tip out with a torch, however I found it was more elegant to sit the nozzle on the grate on my gas stove and run it on medium for about 10 minutes. It cleaned it up like new.
