Re: V4 nozzle leaks (mess)

Yeah makes sense. Now that I think about it, I never had the problem couple of years ago when I did not do the "right" thing and changed the nozzles cold. I think I will try back my old habbit.

Thank you!

Re: V4 nozzle leaks (mess)

Nah... the nozzle was brand new. Like shiny out of the bag. Had the issue with two different hot ends and two different nozzles. The issue must be with the way I clean and assemble the thing. I do not see how I could do it better than I do though... I was so much tired of the leakage on the first ho...

Re: V4 nozzle leaks (mess)

Hey thanks for the reply! Yeah I think you're right I probably should use the spare hot ends I have and stop swapping the nozzles. I would need three also: 0.25, 0.35 and Hardened Steel. I still do not understand what is happening with my current nozzle though. The hot end was basically brand new. I...

V4 nozzle leaks (mess)

Hi, I have been having issues with my printer when I use 0.25 mm nozzles. The PLA leaks like crazy between the nozzle and the heating bloc. I changed the whole hot end including the nozzle. I tried to tighten the nozzle more, but I went to the point where I twisted a hot end and it never solved the ...

Re: Issue printing any object on my M2

My guess would be a loose belt or something like that on the axis where you have trouble. It must be skipping teeth.

Re: attempting nozzle removal - barrel spins

May be a late reply: but there is a allen screw hole at the back of the hot end. You can use that to hold it in place. The hot end is actually 5 parts: 1. Aluminium bloc 2. Barrel 3. Nozzle 4. Cartridge Heater 5. Thermocouple On thing though: do not torch the barrel even if it is clogged. There must...

Re: Filament Strips Out and Jams at Specific Z Height

Probably not the same cause as yours, but here's what I experienced recently. I began in 2016 by printing PLA mostly, then about three months later switched to PETG. About 6 months ago I began printing with Taulman 910 and do most of my prints with that now. I recently reprinted parts in PETG and ha...

Re: M2 Z-Axis Caps

Mmmm... why don't you just change the starting heigth from sofware using these lines? The quote below is from someone else on the forum. Use M501 to read the EEPROM parameters, Look for M206. (it should look something like M206 X0.0 Y0.0 Z-6.0) You can then adjust it using M206 Z[new value] and then...

Re: Ripple / Shadow effect on raised details?

I just ordered two dampeners and will see what they do!

For the acceleration, well, my PETG was already set at 1000 because I took my initial profil from you Jules. And all my PETG has ringing.

And you got to to tell me what you mean by catty corner. I googled the thing and had no luck.
