Re: Print Settings for PETG: eSUN Solid Black Filament

Your gap maybe a tad too large and that's why the PET is not laminating together. I am doing an Esun PET print right now and I'm getting good results an extruder temp of 247° and bed temp of 80°, I believe most of the other settings are the same as this guide. Here is a link to my Octoprint http://m...

Your longest print time

I'm trying to do a print that my president of the company I work for wanted me to try. He wants to see the quality of print that I can achieve on my printer. When I received it, I already could tell I was going to have to use a ton of support regardless of the orientation. Also, it had thin walls, m...

Re: Avante Technologies FilaOne Green

Looking at some of the pictures and they have a video on the Avante website, it looks like it's a Cornbased plastic. There is what looks like a glass bowl full of corn. http://www.avante-technology.com/filaone-green/ Supposedly, their Grey is based on Nanotubes and is even stronger then Green. That'...

Here is my Ikea enclosure in my old work area, used with the above Ikea case. It works great. The material is actually pretty easy to get in and out.

Re: MAXTEMP Error

Its not likely that he is running a thermocouple to sense his temp. Its more likely to be a thermistor. Thermistors read low when there is a disconnection, so if I had to guess I would say that your maxtemp setting in your firmware is 250 or 255C and you had a bit of an overshoot with your temp and...

Re: MAXTEMP Error

I would check your thermocouple to see if it has any issue(wires) or connection. Usually when a thermocouple goes bad it reads low.

Re: Big ABS prints adherence problem

Your best bet is to use a pei bed. Can you maybe make the print in sections. That would help a lot. It would also save you some material. That's a lot of support material you are wasting printing it in one peice.
