Re: Where is the Makergear User Community?
This is great news. I have had my M2 for about 7 years, now and I just had my first major part failure. My idler on the X axis had a bearing failure. I didn't think, I would find the store open or Makergear. Boy, was I relieved when I was able to pick up two of them. Hopefully, I can get them soon t...

Re: Where is the Makergear User Community?

Fast forward until this year and I have a job that had an idea and I had a printer that needed some w...

Re: Filament suggestions for outdoor use, that doesn't need a heated print enclosure?
There is a simplify3d file for Esun PETg on the forums I use to print. Would you mind giving us the link? I have my own S3D file, but would like to compare. There is a thread here for sharing those files, but it has been so long, I have forgotten. Insta's something-or-other? http://forum.makergear....

Re: Covid Mask
My first attempt printed just fine. My issue was when I had to remove it from the PEI and well it did not survive, lol. So, I put some Elmer's glue stick on the plate and restarted a print, went to bed and when I woke up had a perfect print. Surprisingly, I have had really no issues with TPU, only w...

Covid Mask
I have to wear a mask at work for 12 hours a day and wanted something that fits and more comfortable and cleanable. So, I found a mask online to try and decided to make it with TPU. I never printed with TPU before and so I did a few searches for settings. So the only changes I made were to speed and...

Re: PETG bonds to PEI like superglue!
I too have a Insta Mic6 plate and PEI, and only print with PETG. If that first layer is compressed to much to the build plate, you will never get it off the PEI. When the first layer is just right, and when the bed is cooled, the print will pop off with a forceful tap, depending on the height of the...
