Re: Modified Ikea enclosure
I know this is reviving an old thread - can the M2 really not get full y-axis travel inside a lack enclosure? I have my printer on a lack right now, and just looking at it, the bed never extends past the ends of the table. The cable at the back may, but only *slightly* and it seems flexible enough t...

Re: Marlin v1.1.6 working, except for bed height
I have linear advance running on my prusa MK3, and it's indeed amazing.
Hoping to get it running on my M2 as well. Is that in a firmware update, or did you just update marlin FW yourself?
I hope it's coming in future firmware. Great feature

Re: nema17 dampers
My dampers didn't reduce the noise as much as I was expecting, but it's still reduced. Now to start printing stuff so I can see if it causes any issues there

Re: Quieter Fans
how do you actually open the PSU? It's almost like my cover is cemented on lol. I unscrewed the sides, and then tried the bottom when that didnt work. The lid is impossible to remove. I wanna swap the fan to a noctua edit - talking about the black case. I can't even get inside of it. it's like it's ...

Re: Quieter Fans
Well, I have modded my extruder head fans, power supply fan, and added dampers to my X and Y motors. Holy crap! I keep forgetting this thing is on. It is super quiet. Power supply mod for Noctua 60mm fan. This is the first mod you should install, just change a connector and swap it. It is a huge re...

Has anyone with a "E" model tried the dampers? if so, how much difference did it make? Thanks! I'll tell you soon enough...just ordered some dampe...

So wait for the M4. Bigger print volume. not sure when it's releasing though3DPrintingEgg wrote:I guess I am not alone in wishing for a bigger print bed over dual extruders. LOL.
But hey, I love the Makergear M2, so I will probably still pony up for a M3 soon.
