Re: power (& MOSFET) connectior type
Actually, I am going to use one of the external MOSFETs like to upgrade an A8, which I have one of, and have a couple of extra MOSFET boards. Just wanted a new connector to supply the bed power so its MOSFET can turn on the external and I hate intermittent burned parts. With the Rambo MOSFET just tu...

power (& MOSFET) connectior type
Does anybody know what the industry type is for the power and mosfet connectors on the rambo board so I can order the right ones? The bed heater voltage positive pin housing on female connector has melted and causing intermittent bed heater voltage and I need a new female connector. The one that goe...

Shorted bed heater
Was printing ABS tonight with bed temp of 100c when I went to check it the part had broke loose from the bed. Looking at octoprint temp graph showed the temperature had dropped to 29C heading for ambient. Set temp was still 100c. The heater led6 on the Rambo was not lit. Great i think, MOSFET is blo...

Sketch plane placement
I am having trouble moving a sketch plane. I am drawing a bearing holder. At first I put a pocket 12mm diameter all the way through. Then I do a shoulder 14mm diameter going 4mm deep. I then decided to move the recess to the center. So I want to move the sketch associated with it an bring up the Pla...

extrudre fan not turning on
I have installed an E3d Clone on to an older Makergear M2 I acquired with a Rambo 1.3 board. Since I had to change the thermistor in the source code and the previous owner had no idea was loaded, I am starting from scratch. Marlin 1.0.2 as base. In testing I notice the extruder fan does not turn on ...

Re: V3A extruder, which thermistor in Marlin
Thanks for the offer, I' ll keep it in mind. actually I am in the process of converting over to E3D from Reprap Champion.
Already printed the new parts from thingiverse. The big problem I have had is "stringing". Plus, Th ability to use different size nozzles.
Again, thanks for the offer.

V3A extruder, which thermistor in Marlin
I have acquired an M2 that was unloved. It is actually a pre-production order unit, so it is one of the first. It has the V3A extruder with the wrapped nichrome wire. The previous owner had the Rambo board go bad and acquired a new one, but never used it or even loaded software on it. I have loaded ...

theristor type
I have an older original Makergear M2 with the V3A nichrome wire extruder. The only reference I can find about thermistor is it is a glass bead.
My question is what is the thermistor I should chose in the Marlin software configuration.h file?

Filament globbing
I am having a problem with what I call filament globbing. I played with temperature and retraction and have got stringing pretty much eliminated. The problem that persists is ridges and globs of filament overhanging. I printed a 12mm square tube with a 3mm wall thickness the corners have a glob. Alm...

Fan wiring
I have a question about fan wiring. I have a used Makergear M2, several years old, Rambo 1.3L and the all the wiring is individual, no harness. I am running off of 12v and I am confused about which fan goes where. There is a extruder 0/Fan 0, Extruder 1/Fan 1 and a Fan 2. I found an online manual th...
