Printing Gcode with Repetier
Hey, so I have been printing with my Makergear for awhile now and printing objects that I have designed on Solidworks. Now I have been working with writing my own gcodes and I know they are correct because at my university the head of our printing lab has helped with the editing and checked and ever...

Re: Upgraded Power supply issues
Okay, this printer was given to me and used to be a display where anyone can print so I guess whoever had it added those. I wasn't sure if they were necessary or not. Thank you.

Re: Upgraded Power supply issues
The problem comes from those silver L brackets. They hit the bed no matter how much I adjust the Z stop. The v3b nozzle I had on there had a longer neck than this one which is why I am thinking its missing something. Or can I remove those silver brackets from the printer altogether or what? Thanks

Upgraded Power supply issues
I was given a Makergear and I had it working fine however I decided to upgrade the power supply to also have V4 nozzle. However, after I installed everything and followed instructions that I found on makergear wiki I ran into a problem when printing, there is a gap between where my nozzle and bed ar...

Printing Issues
So I'm having 2 issues here. I've printed smaller things before and everything works, however this time I'm printing a bigger item and I am running into a few issues. The first is that when I load the filament and do a few mm of test it comes out jagged like, I'm not sure if this is because I'm doin...

How to use Repetier

I am encountering problems when I try to print or use the manual move function. When I try to connect to the printer it connects fine, however when I go to print it says that it i...

communicate timeout
I recently got a Makergear for free and have the repetier software and I can connect to the printer, however I can not use the manual control option to move the printer head. In the dialogue window I'm getting messages such as 'No Start signal detected - forcing start' and 'Communication timeout - r...

New to Makergear
So I'm a student doing research for my university, I started out on a MakerBot, which was terrible, and then a Makergear M2 was donated to me to use. Now I'm not familiar with this since on the printer I was using their website had free software for printing on the machine. My question is what progr...
