Re: Printer not working due to mainboard failure?
Well, I'm really lost about what happened... But I'm really happy because everything went back to normal! :D :D :D Since I had disconnected the LCD (Viki1) I reloaded the original firmware (following Tim advice), just to check if something would respond through S3D. For my surprise, everything worke...

Re: Printer not working due to mainboard failure?
Good morning. Just to update my post. I measured the 5 mosfet outputs voltage, just FAN1 is measuring 23,6v. The others are not measuring at all. The fuses; the three of them are at least not broken (continuity check). What else can I check? Or should I consider my board was fried? hahaha I'll have ...

Re: Printer not working due to mainboard failure?
Thanks Insta.
I'll check the fuses.
Thanks!
I'll check the fuses.
Just a question... What would be the reason for switching A-B wiring for the LCD? I mean, I didn't modify anything, just rewire the same board the same way... Just to understand why would I need to do that?insta wrote:If your LCD isn't working, swap cables A & B.
Thanks!

Printer not working due to mainboard failure?
Hello to all! I was installing a new case for the Viki 1 screen, so I had to remove all wiring and rewire. After doing that, I turned on the printer and I noticed the screen was not showing information at all: Just ON, but didn't seem to work. I checked its wiring, at it was OK... so apparently the ...

Re: VIKI2 LCD installation
Good Afternoon! Well, finally I have a VIKI2 that Insta sold me, and it's working good!!! No problems during install and I'm controlling my M2. I gave up on Viki 2... nobody seemed to install it correctly, not even MG support... Talking about the Viki1, I noticed that when I'm printing from SD, dire...

Re: Print stops at certain point
I see, I'll do the tune again with the manually preheating.
Yes, I'm storing the results with the M500 code ( M500 P**** I**** D****). I guess it's ok.
I'll let you know later about the new setup.
Thanks

Re: Print stops at certain point
Thanks Ed! Well, I did the PID auto-tune but it seems that the T continues unstable... it seems a little bit less, but not as stable as I use to see it. Should be the heater again? I just replace it... Should I do the process more than once? I'm printing just fine, but those variations are noticeabl...

Re: Print stops at certain point
Good afternoon! Finally I continue having some issues, basically, wiring issues... I've checked all the wiring so far and now again seems to be fine (since last weekend that I had the last issue: the extruder was not being detected). Well, checking the forum I've found out that this is some wirng is...

Re: Print stops at certain point
Hello Jk! Well, I must tell I was with issues with the two of the heaters!!! :( First, I proved that the HB heater was with fluctuations of about 6-7 C up and down... so I had to change the heater. Problem solved. Tested after and my print stopped again: S3D indicated some sort of "protection stop b...
