Is my RAMBo card finally giving up?
Hi all I have an M2, I've had it for six years now.. For most of the last couple of years, I've printed happily with octopi sending all files to my M2, everything have been working great.... Up until one point! Now, I have failed prints at random, for no apparent reason. Well, I know the reason. Oct...

A story about my M2 ...
Hi all!
I recently published a large blog post on 3dprinterchat about the big project I made two years ago on my M2.
If you want to read it, here's the link: https://3dprinterchat.com/2017/11/the-first-bb-8/
I hope you enjoy it =)
Best,
Micke

Re: New and different dual extruder idea
I'm taking the plunge! Going to try this one out. I like it, Tim. It makes a lot of sense in many ways. Also, this would really be the best of both worlds where you can print with just one extruder without issues of having the other bump in to things. All parts are on order (I actually had a lot of ...

Re: Is the v4 hot end all metal?
Yeah. Monday roll. I tried a third time....
One roll has caused:
2 extruder clogs and today the filament broke off (or was broken in the roll) while I was aeay.
Into the bin!

Re: Is the v4 hot end all metal?
I've only snapped one ... so far. Oh... and I start to think there is something wrong with my filament, at least this roll. I haven't had a clogged nozzle in a year and a half. It clogged on me bad yesterday. I swapped it out for a brand new v4 nozzle I had lying about, and guess what.. second print...

Re: Is the v4 hot end all metal?
Thanks, that's why I asked if it was all metal...
I thought there might be a PTFE tube inside the but wasn't sure... better ask first, I thought.
and yes... I know .. I've bent one v4 hot end when doing ... something.

Is the v4 hot end all metal?
Hi all. Quick question: Is the v4 hot end all metal? my nozzle (and borderline entire hot end) is very clogged to the point I may need to do something drastic. I can barely push pla through it. Maybe it is easier to declog it with ABS ? cold pull method? (I generally print PLA, had a few early signs...

Marlin upgrade?
Hi! Just wanted to check with you guys what is needed to tweak in the code to upgrade Marlin to a later release. My release is quite old, from the first release of v4 I believe, and some features, like changing filament option was not fully working at that point. I have a record of the small changes...

Here's a little breakdown of most of the parts for the body. The large triangles are made up of three smaller ones here to the left.
