Re: Has anyone changed the fan in their power supply?
Thanks .. that does help as it suggests that the fan is indeed exhausting air (as it is positioned at the end opposite the power cord, and blowing upward internally), so it looks like I quite likely have the orientation correct. (I'm usually careful, paying attention to things like this when taking ...

Re: Has anyone changed the fan in their power supply?
(I have not been able to find an answer to a question I have, but thought I would post to this thread as my inquiry is somewhat related). I've just completed a long delayed swap out of my M2 Rev E power supply fan with the suggested 60mm Noctura alternate. (A good move, as others have noted .. I'm s...

Re: S3D Slicing Issue
Hmm .. yea .. I get similar results as you (S3D 4.0.1 on a Windows machine). I just however get one shorter cross piece vs. the two shown in your attachment.

Re: M3 vs. M2 experience questions
Yes, Tim, I’m sure you are correct that they would be appreciative of any of the MakerGear products as they’ll often experience printing troubles with their various current MakerBot and Dremel machines .. and I think it would be helpful to have a heated bed (even though they solely use PLA), somethi...

M3 vs. M2 experience questions
I volunteer at a local school that has a small printing program. I'm considering possibly upgrading their equipment, and am wrestling with an M2 vs. M3(-SE) decision. I’m very happy with an M2 kit I’ve been running for over a year now, so that alternative is well known. I would however like to hear ...

Re: M3 and Simplify 3d (sort of an unboxing)
Very thoughtful, comprehensive and balanced review and comments @DeCav .. thanks. Good to learn you were able to neuter the RPi / OctoPrint functionality and just run S3D directly over USB. Prompts me to ponder if MG might consider releasing an M3 (lower priced) variant sans wireless capability, (wh...

Re: M3 Wi-Fi Connection Problem
Your comments prompt me to add my .02c as I've just had my first 'close encounter' (and certainly not a favorable one) with Edge over the past 24-48 hours. I feel your pain. I had dusted off a few previous projects where IE was the only browser supported for configuration and interface. Not paying c...

Re: storing PLA
My guess is they wouldn't, and think I'd even be wary of using an active approach (filament dryer) to 'restore' a spool of compromised filament. Maybe I'm just overly cautious, but I've just bit the bullet and picked up new product whenever I've had some suspect (old, improperly stored, brittle, cra...
