Re: Lossing Bed Level

The Zstop seems to be solid and doesn't move at all. Its weird. I can print for a while and then the bed is out of alignment again and stuff starts pulling up. I thought it was from trying to pull up the prints without removing it so I started making sure to remove the plate before removing a print....

Lossing Bed Level

I am constantly losing bed level. I dial it in and after a few prints its out again. I have no idea what is causing this. I have several sheets of glass so I checked them and they seem to be close enough to not cause an issue. (around 0.05mm) I get several prints out and then it will start failing a...

Re: Issue a pause command from sensors

I assume you mean the Max End stops that are marked as unused on the board. How do I start it again after triggering the pause? Does clearing the issue start it over again? If it just pauses like when I hit pause in Simplify3D then it will not retract the filament and result in a glob of filament on...

Issue a pause command from sensors

So I've been wondering if I can issue a pause or even a full stop command to the hardware from an external source. I'm not seeing any I/O on the board but I'm also not sure if I can inject a pause command through Gcode on the LCD interface. It would require a small microcontroller external to the ma...

Re: Odd issues on taller cylindrical parts

Thanks guys! One question. Is there a way to force it into the center of the part? These all had holes in the middle because a pvc pipe will go through them. Is it happening once per layer or does it happen once per outer edge per layer? Also is there an easy way to find the coordinates of a specifi...

Odd issues on taller cylindrical parts

So I've seen an issue when printing taller cylinders. There are vertical strips that are rougher than the rest of the part. They seem to be random and can last for 1/2" to 2" or so. They don't seem to be the layer start area and can happen in several spots at one time. Any thoughts on whats going on?
