M2 Dual

I have a m2 dual I bought back in the beginning of this year. I upgraded to dual and have the original exturder / hotend as well. I am just a home user and never really used it all that much so its more or less like new. I have a taz 6 and ended up using that more for whatever reason. I have the ori...

Re: MIC6 preorder number 3 *back for sale*

I got the plate installed, and just using the stock clips so far. Just backed the screw out enough to get the clip over the plate, then tightened a bit. Looks a bit odd, but seems to work fine. Z I will print your clips in the am and see how they work. The new plate STICKS. I have been really frustr...

Re: Installing software on Upgraded Dual Extruder M2

Think...Think, I have this all working now. I downloaded the two models off wiki, used the dual extrusion wizard in s3d, played with the settings to get the temps to where maker gear seems to use (70c bed and 220 on pla) added a brim or skirt or whatever that little two line outline thing is and pre...

Re: Installing software on Upgraded Dual Extruder M2

Ok, had some time today and got through the firmware install, as well as leveling out the new mic6 plate with quick start. Just printed my bracelet to test things and all is well so far. I now need to get S3d set up and do all the alignment stuff. I have not leveled the second extruder yet as I want...

Re: MIC6 preorder number 3 *back for sale*

Its not an issue with me, as I dont really think I am ever going to print to 1/16 from the edge...

I have a rev e so a little concerned I need to figure out how to secure it. It moves around quite a bit with any pressure.

I can try printing the clamps you linked upthread and see how they work.

Re: Installing software on Upgraded Dual Extruder M2

Hate to admit it, but I am stuck here as well at how do I flash the firmware. The link upthread does not work, and I cant for the life of me find anthing on how to flash firmware.

Can someone point me in the correct direction?

Re: MIC6 preorder number 3 *back for sale*

I received mine late last week and just now had time to fiddle with it. The plate is about 3/32 short on the 8" side and the pei sheet is perfectly square on one side but about 1/16 end to end out on the other side, leaving 1/16 of the aluminum plate exposed. I am not sure if this is normal or not. ...

Re: Beginner's Guide - MakerGear M2 V4 Rev.E machines

Wait a second, how about the bed gap from the hot end. If I set that as the last step in the ms quick start bed leveling, does that gap get "coded" into the machine somehow and used in S3D? I am having a heck of a time getting my first layer to stick. the filament seems to curl up around the hot end...
